Most Robinhood Chain stock-token trading now happens outside US market hours, TERA opens a weekend kart challenge, ASCII Dogs and Ripples add new NFT options, BAYC's Mudwater cards roll out, and Bitcoin dips below $80,000.
From September 24 to October 23, stock-token DEX volume on Robinhood Chain reached $3.68 billion, and 59% of it traded outside regular US market hours. Weekends alone accounted for $532 million, about 14% of the total.
TERA, a browser-based 3D city on Robinhood Chain that anyone can explore before its 3,333-parcel land mint, teased THE WALL, a challenge where players jump a kart up a ramp to bring home a crate perched on a ledge.
ASCII Dogs is preparing a free mint of 4,444 Genesis Dogs on Robinhood Chain and has announced a collaboration with Cronos DAO. The team says mint day is coming soon but hasn't posted a date.
Ripples' new Upwell feature lets any coin launched on Pons get its own NFT collection, where 80% of each mint buys the coin and sends it to the minter's wallet in the same transaction. Ripples says collections launched on its platform show up on OpenSea automatically.
Mudwater is Yuga Labs' new physical-and-digital card set for Bored Ape Yacht Club. Each Bored Ape can claim 10 packs and each Mutant Ape 2, with 10 cards per pack, and the claim window closes at 7 p.m. ET on January 18, 2027.
Ordinals advocate Leonidas asked OpenSea to support Bitcoin inscriptions and Runes after its new mobile app launched with trading across more than 25 blockchains. OpenSea hasn't confirmed any Bitcoin support or timeline.
Bitcoin briefly fell to about $79,220 on Binance on Saturday before rebounding to around $80,200, amid rising US-Iran tensions. CoinGlass counted about $841 million in crypto liquidations over 24 hours, mostly long positions.
